01

Choose a point cloud

Start with one LAS or ordinary LAZ file.

LAS 1.2–1.4 · point formats 0–3, 6–8

02

Size and align your grid

Every tile covers 10 × 10 metres in XY.

At origin 0, tile edges align to multiples of 10 m in X and 10 m in Y. Use the same origin and tile size for related files.

Coordinates must already use a planar metre-based system. No reprojection is performed.

03

Keep the detail. Split the file.

A new subfolder is created in your chosen destination.

Lossless compression keeps the point records and reduces output size.
